Dana Ashwood is the perfect college counselor. She is very thorough, creates a personalized plan for the student, and identifies the areas that one needs to strengthen and highlight for their college application. My experience working with Dana was outstanding as she helped me craft multiple college essays, discuss different options that I could consider writing about, and assisted me with my revisions. In addition to this, Dana suggested a wide variety of schools, found multiple programs for each school that I could attend to get a better sense of their academic programs, and made great suggestions in terms of how to frame my extracurricular involvement on my college application. Last, Dana was very involved during this process as we met weekly and sometimes bi-weekly to craft, organize, and plan our current tasks that my family and I needed to complete in order to prepare for my application. I would personally recommend Dana to any student and family looking for a college counselor. She is very reliable, friendly, and is very hands on during this process.
